In Episode 13, I started covering the armor of God found in Ephesians chapter 6:13-18, and specifically covered the belt of truth. Just to refresh us on the belt of truth, we put on the belt of truth each day by consulting the BIBLE which is our source of truth. We measure our thoughts and actions and words against the Bible to stay rooted in truth. We see what God has to say about a matter, so that is how we wear our belt of truth.

This episode we will be covering the Breastplate of Righteousness! I As gamers we know the importance of gear for many our characters in game. We know we wouldn't run into any battle without the best gear we have and we surely wouldn't go into an encounter without a chest piece on! First we will cover what we know about the breastplates of this world. We know they are meant to protect our most vital of organs. Hidden under the breastplate is our Heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, liver, and kidneys. Basically everything in your upper torso area. All of these organs are very important to have healthy and intact for us to live, so naturally we started covering them as soon as we had the knowledge and ability to do so.

The word armor as described in the Merriam Webster Dictionary is “defensive covering for the body especially : covering (as of metal) used in combat . The use of armor actually extends beyond historical records and we continue to use armor to protect anything of value. We have armored trucks that transport money, armored vehicles protecting political leaders,law enforcement and military personnel.Even those involved in high impact sports use their own versions of armor to protect themselves from dangerous impact.

In the past, Armor was heavy and clunky and was not always available for everyone to use. Some armor could only be used by knights and it consisted of large plates of iron and steel. Over time we have found ways to reduce the weight of the Armor while improving its ability to protect us. When Paul was addressing the Church of Ephesus about the Armor of God in Ephesians, he was not referencing the physical armor we know and use today. He was addressing the spiritual Armor. Unlike the armor we are familiar with, Gods Armor is not burdensome, it is not clunky, it is not meant for only those who can afford it, or have the social status to use it. It is a set of Armor all of us have access to. It is a set of armor we have to be intentional about and choose to put on.

The Breastplate of Righteousness is protecting our heart in a way our earthly armor can not. We wear this armor by putting on righteousness. But what does that mean? What does the Bible have to say about righteousness? Righteousness is the opposite of sin. Sin is lawlessness. Without righteousness to use as a unit of measure we would not know what sin is. For the same reasons the 10 commandments are important to us. Without the commandments from God we wouldn’t have anything to measure our actions against to help us make sure we’re on the straight and narrow. They are not called the 10 suggestions, or the 10 recommendations. They are called the 10 commandments.

We wear our breastplate of righteousness by following God's Law, because lawlessness is sin and sin is the opposite of righteousness.

1 John 3:4 of the New King James Version states :

“ Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”

I heard a sermon once that explained how we can get carried away with sin very much like we can be overrun with cockroaches. If you see one cockroach and do not kill it, you will soon have an infestation. The same goes for sin. If we sin once and overlook it, sooner or later we will be overrun with sin. We will have kicked God out of our life and made room for the enemy.

If we make one creeping compromise and sin , it becomes easier to sin and easier to sin, and before we know it our breastplate of righteousness needs serious repair, for it will start to look more and more like a breastplate of lawlessness, and as Christians we can not allow that to happen. We must continue to be intentional on repairing our gear out of game as much as we do in game. We must check ourselves before we wreck ourselves...

E3 2019:

Sequel to Zeldas Breath of the wild with no date of release yet.

Many expect its release to overlap with Nintendo's new console, which we still don't have a date yet, but according to an Article in the Wall Street Journal

reported earlier this month, that the company is working on two new consoles: a cheaper model and a high-end next-generation successor.

According to Inverse.com, a Japanese newspaper called Nikkei also reported something similar, suggesting that the budget-friendly Switch Lite/Mini could hit stores before the end of 2019.


Animal Crossing has been delayed till 2020

Final fantasy 7 remake was confirmed will be out march 3rd 2020

We got a look at Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal's Avengers game during the Square

Enix E3 2019 conference.


Marvel's Avengers is described as a co-op action game with an original storyline featuring the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Captain America.

Marvel Games vice president and creative director Bill Rosemann stressed that this is "an all-new original story showcasing authentic Marvel heroism and humanity. It's about losing what matters to you most and fighting to get it back."

Marvel's Avengers will launch on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia in May 2020. PS4 owners will also get access to some platform-exclusive content, including early beta access.


Star Wars Jedi

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an upcoming single-player action-adventure video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts

It is set in the Star Wars universe shortly after Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

It was announced during E3 2018 and a more detailed reveal took place at the Star Wars Celebration in April 2019.

At E3 2019, Electronic Arts showcased a 15 minute demo of the game.

The game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 15, 2019.


Respawn Entertainment unveiled Apex Legends’ upcoming second content season.

Season two will be called Battle Charge

When it launches in July it will include a redesigned battle pass, a new weapon, a new ranked mode, and a brand new playable character named Wattson.

According to Wattson’s backstory, she and her father actually designed and built the massive arena in which Apex Legends matches are held.

Like her father, Wattson is a gifted engineer and scientist who functions as a defense-oriented character when it comes to direct gameplay.


The next-generation Xbox was announced at Microsoft's Xbox E3 Briefing.

It is Currently called Project Scarlett

Scheduled to be released in Holiday 2020.

According to their reveal trailer, Scarlet will be:

four times more powerful than the Xbox One X

capable of resolutions up to 8K, 120 frames per second

and ray tracing.

Microsoft has said that the new-gen SSD drive is being used as virtual RAM, offering major performance increases over previous generations.


Microsoft introduced the new Xbox Elite controller at E3 2019.

It’s called the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.

There’s a total of 30 new features on the next-gen Elite controller

At E3 many saw a familiar face during the announcement the much-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.

After the Cyberpunk2077 trailer the audience got to see a digitized Keanu Reeves but then POOF! They were were further amazed when the John Wick star walked onstage!

In an article in Newsweek, Keanu Reeves was quoted saying

"Awhile back, the guys from CD Projekt Red approached me and asked me to be a part of their new project, Cyberpunk 2077"

"They went on and on about how they created this vast, open world with a branching storyline, how you'd be able to customize your character through in-game choices and it wasn't something I knew about before but I was excited about it."

"I'm always drawn to fascinating stories," he added.

"The feeling there, of walking the streets of the future, is really going to be breathtaking," Reeves continued.


One of the fans in the crowd yelled out to Keanu, and said, “You're breathtaking!" The actor laughed and said, "You're all breathtaking!"

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt, releasing for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 16 April 2020.

Adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, it is set fifty-seven years later in dystopian Night City, California, an open world with six distinct regions. In a first-person perspective, players assume the role of the customisable mercenary V, who can reach prominence in three character classes by applying experience points to stat upgrades. V has an arsenal of ranged weapons and options for melee combat.


Watch Dogs: Legion was announced

It is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft.

It is the 3rd instalment in the Watch Dogs series and the sequel to Watch Dogs 2.

It takes place in a fictional representation of London

It is designed as an open world and playable from a third-person perspective.

One of the interesting features is the ability to control multiple characters that can be recruited across the game's setting

It will also feature a cooperative multiplayer that will allow up to four players being able to work together.

It is due to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on March 6, 2020.


Bethesda did not shy away from the Fallout76 pimple thats been on their nose for a while In

Todd Howard, the game’s director and the one who insisted that Fallout 76 not have any human NPCs, to emphasize the human multiplayer component.

That decision fell flat on its face right along with Fallout 76 at launch.

Fallout76 disappointed fans of the RPG

Todd Howard said “We’ve had an incredible year at Bethesda Game Studios,” said “Given some of that excitement, I’m impressed you’re still here.”“Take Fallout 76,”

Many look at this as a great sign that they are not the type of company that will just try to bury their mistakes but be humbled by them and learn from them.

Nuclear Winter, a Battle Royale in Fallout 76

players are to battle it out in Appalachia’s wilds to be crowned the overseer of Vault 51.

The Nuclear Winter mode was called a "beta sneak peek,"

Many thought the test would be temporary but according to an update on the Fallout 76 blog, the company says "the pre-beta sneak peek of Nuclear Winter will remain on and continue to receive updates."

Shinji Mikami took the stage at Bethesda's E3 to announce Tango Gameworks' first new project since The Evil Within 2. ,GhostWire: Tokyo
